Update planners with Agenda and HW
  1. Announcements:
    • Students should stand for the Pledge of Allegiance, then listen QUIETLY to the announcements while they update their planners.
  2. Reality Central "Staying Connected" p. 152-155 (small green books on book shelf)
    1. Kick it Off p. 152
      1. Read the Real Life Connection.
      2. Copy the example chart for the positives and negatives and add at least 3 to each side.
    2. Word Bank p. 152
      1. Use Cornell Notes.
      2. Copy each vocabulary word on the left and the definition on the right.
    3. "Staying Connected" p. 153-155
      1. Read the story.
      2. Summarize each section using Cornell Notes.
        • Copy the section heading on the left and write two summary sentences on the right.
          • Example: Staying Connected, Not on the Same Page, Net Difference, etc.
    4. Wrap it Up and Connect to the Big Question p. 155
      1. Copy the questions on the left and write your answers on the right.
